The Curly Redwood Lodge is situated in the center of Del Norte County, which is home to the Redwood National and State Parks and Smith River National Recreation Area. There are unlimited recreational activities which include: fishing the Klamath and Smith rivers for salmon or steelhead, walking through awesome redwoods, picnicking near a herd of elk, or watching the whales on their migration.
